Our 2024 Charity: Cap for Kids!

We’re so excited to announce our hosted Charity this year!

Cap for Kids is a non-profit organization that seeks to bring hope and cheer to children undergoing cancer treatment, and their families. We do this by providing financial and emotional support to the immediate families of the afflicted children as well as by bringing them face to face with their favorite comic and pop culture heroes via in-character hospital or home visits. We are able to do this through the kindness, generosity, and support of the pop culture community as well as the heroic efforts of our wonderful volunteers.

We’ll be bringing back our annual Silent Auction, going all weekend, as well as our Sunday Live Charity Auction to help show our support! Our staff collects donations of items, usually anime related, and often get them autographed to then auction to YOU. This is a really cool way to get prints signed by entire casts, or a hard-to-find autograph.

Our Silent Auction will be taking place throughout the weekend, with end times posted for each item. Feel free to stop by the Charity Room, Iris, and grab a pen to write down your name and bid! Be sure to check back in case you’re outbid on what you really want.

Our Live Auction will be taking place on Sunday in Main Events, emceed by voice actor Tony Oliver! Don’t miss out on all the great and rare items we'll have available.

All proceeds collected from your donations this year will be going to Cap for Kids. We continue to have a positive impact on our community and none of it would be possible without all of you in our Colorado Anime Fest family.
